About four years ago, I got a call from someone I’d never met, Catherine Lowe, asking to meet and chat about something called The Scout Guide. I’d never heard of it… rookie move. She told me to come to an event at Where’s the Party so we could talk more. Within 60 seconds of meeting her, I knew whatever she was doing, I wanted in. She was sharp, creative, and totally lit up about our community.
Fast forward to today, three volumes later, and I’m lucky to call her a friend. I’ve even half-jokingly asked her mom if she’ll adopt me over cocktails 😂.
